The cleansing power it took for man
to wash him white as snow
is the power which broke all sin
at the cross it did flow

this perfect man’s innocent blood
offered to save the lost
ultimately paid the penalty
it had to pay the cost

for without the shedding of blood
there is no remission
taking away the curse of sin
God made this provision

by sending down His only Son
this curse had been removed
through sinless man Who bore it all
His love for you He proved

since man’s own blood had been tainted
what offering can he give
born into sin due to the curse
man still desires to live

and live he does through Jesus Christ
man offers God his life
acceptance through the blood divine
man’s sins are all made white
____
no longer bound to sin and shame
the cross shall make men free
to live again born of spirit
with God eternally
